The past few weeks have been full of unpacking, learning, organizing, and settling into our new home—and we couldn't be more grateful.

Every move comes with a few growing pains, and we're still fine-tuning the little details that help create the experience we want every guest to have. Looking Ahead

Now that we're beginning to settle in, we're excited to start focusing on what's next.

One of the things we're most looking forward to is hosting an Open House this fall! While we're still finalizing the details, we'd love for it to be an opportunity for you to tour the new space, meet our team, enjoy a few surprises, and celebrate this exciting new chapter with us.

More importantly, it will also mark the kickoff of one of our favorite traditions.

Every holiday season, our salon family comes together to adopt a local family in need. It's become one of the most meaningful parts of our year, and we'd love to make an even bigger impact this Christmas.

Beginning today, we're officially accepting family nominations.

If you know someone who could use a little extra hope this holiday season—a family facing unexpected hardship, medical challenges, financial difficulties, or simply a season where a little kindness could make all the difference—we'd love to hear their story.

Our goal has never been to simply donate gifts.

Our goal is to remind people that they're seen, supported, and loved.

Something Special is Coming...

Education has always been a huge part of what we do, and we're excited to finally begin bringing one of our biggest ideas to life.

We're currently building The Pearl Society—our exclusive education community for August Pearl Salon guests.

The Pearl Society will eventually include private Instagram content, YouTube videos, extension care tutorials, product education, styling tips, seasonal hair advice, behind-the-scenes content, and answers to many of the questions we hear every day in the salon.

Whether you wear extensions or simply want to keep your hair healthy between appointments, our goal is to give you trusted education you can access anytime.

It's still in development, but we're incredibly excited to share it with you soon.

We're Accepting New Guests

As we settle into our new space, we have room to welcome new faces into the salon.

Jodi and Alyssa are currently accepting new extension guests and would love to help you achieve the hair you've been dreaming about. Whether you're looking for added length, fullness, or both, we'd love to create a personalized extension plan that's right for you.

Our rising stylist Sierra is also welcoming new guests as she continues building her clientele and working toward becoming a fully independent stylist. Today we are excited to share a milestone for one of our incredible stylists. Alyssa has been officially promoted to Elite Stylist and will now also serve as Lead Stylist at August Pearl Salon. This promotion reflects not only her talent behind the chair, but also the trust, leadership, and dedication she brings to our team and our guests every day.

The Elite Stylist level represents advanced expertise, consistent results, and a deep commitment to guest experience. Elite Stylists demonstrate years of technical experience, high demand from guests, advanced consultation and formulation skills, and consistent, exceptional results. With a commitment to continued education and growth, Alyssa has steadily grown into this role through her passion for the craft and the relationship she builds with every guest who sits in her chair. 

Introducing Alyssa's new role: Lead Stylists at August Pearl Salon. In this leadership role she will help support and mentor developing stylists on the team, assist with consultation and service questions when needed, help maintain the guest experience standards August Pearl is known for, and serve as a day to day resource for our stylists.

Introducing Sierra | Co-Stylist + Essential Stylist at August Pearl Salon in Hermitage, TN. 

At APS, growth always mean intention. It means refining our standards, elevating our guest experience, and creating opportunities for the next generation of stylists to grow the right way. We are so excited to officially introduce Sierra, our newest edition to the APS Team. She is currently stepping into her role as our Co-Stylist and Essential Stylist while she completes advanced service training and testing and perfects the APS Guest Experience Standards. 

WHAT DOES “CO-STYLIST” MEAN?
 

At APS, we don't rush growth. Sierra is in our structured development phase, which means:
- She is refining technical services to APS standards 
- She is completing hands-on evaluations on mannequins and live models
- She is mastering consultation flow, timing, and luxury guest experiences
- She is working closely under mentorship to ensure consistency 

This intentional transition ensures that when she fully steps into her Essential Stylist role, she is 100% aligned with the elevated guest experience APS is known for. 

MODEL PRICING THROUGH APRIL 1ST, 2026

To support her development, Sierra is offering model pricing on select services through April 1st, 2026. Model appointments allow real-time education and refinement, additional time built into services, direct oversight when needed, and a reduced introductory price for guests. This is the perfect opportunity if you are flexible with timing, love supporting rising talent, want beautiful hair at a lower introductory rate, and enjoy being part of the growth process. 

Model pricing is temporary and will increase once Sierra officially transitions out of this level of development.
